Welcome Betty! The Humane Society had a large influx of kittens last week and requested foster care homes on the local news. My hubby has been wanting a kitten for a while, so for his birthday, we adopted Betty.
So, got most of the studio organized then changed my plans. Pulled one of my work surface desks out and bringing the elliptical up from the basement. All that sitting isn't good for my health, so I'm going to take aerobic breaks from work. It means I have less room to work, but also less room to pile stuff instead of putting things away.
My workspace is a 12'x12' room in my home, on top of a hill in rural Michigan. The contents which spill out to the rest of our place (creativity can't be contained) I am constantly trying to find ways to organize my tools and supplies, but it's usually a losing battle.
We are surrounded by wildlife and nature. Which inspires and delights the eye.
I've been painting, drawing, crafting and sewing most of my life. Grandma taught me to sew on her Singer Treadle which I still have and occasionally use.
